Membrane Usage Areas

Membrane is a special coating material used to provide waterproofing in roof panels. PVC and TPO membranes are extremely resistant to atmospheric conditions and sunlight. These membranes provide high dimensional stability thanks to their polyester-reinforced structure, which allows the material to be used for many years without changing shape. In addition, these membranes, which have high tear resistance, play an important role in protecting roofs against external factors. The fact that the membranes are geotextile felt laminated makes this soft waterproofing layer, which is combined with hot air welding, structurally stronger and more durable. In this way, it stands out as a preferred waterproofing solution especially in industrial buildings, commercial structures and large-scale projects.

Structural Advantages of Membranes

The polyester reinforcement of the membranes increases the durability of the roofs by providing high dimensional stability and tear resistance. These features provide long-term performance and reliability. The geotextile felt lamination layer enables strong adhesion to the insulation layer on the panel. This layer prevents direct contact of the PVC or TPO membrane with the polyurethane insulation layer, preventing the two materials from damaging each other and providing long-lasting insulation. Thus, this double-layer protection offered by the membranes prevents water from leaking into the structure, secures the interior spaces of the buildings and also supports energy efficiency.
